Hemenway Park playground

If you haven’t spotted bighorn sheep wandering through while your kids play, you haven’t really done Hemenway Park. The playground itself is solid — slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a merry-go-round on rubber flooring, which parents around here genuinely appreciate. Shade trees and benches make it easy to actually relax instead of standing around squinting into the sun. There’s a basketball court too, so older kids (this place works for ages 2 to 16) have something to do beyond the main structure. Honestly, the wildlife alone makes it worth the trip.
