Craig Ranch Regional Park has one of those playgrounds that actually lives up to the hype — and in North Las Vegas, that’s saying something. The climbing structures here are legit, with enough variety that kids aren’t fighting over the same piece of equipment every five minutes. What really sets it apart is the natural shade from mature trees, which is basically a luxury when you’re dealing with a Nevada summer. Toddlers through older kids all find something to do, and the layout is spread out enough that you’re not constantly dodging strollers. Locals know about it, but it somehow never feels completely overrun.
