Silver Knolls Playground

If you’ve never heard of this spot, you’re not alone — most people drive right past it. Silver Knolls sits out on the quieter edge of Reno where you actually get some breathing room, with open grass, a baseball field, and walking paths that connect to legit hiking and horse trails. Keep your eyes open because deer and other wildlife show up more than you’d expect. The views of the surrounding hills are genuinely worth the trip out here, and there are restrooms on site which, honestly, matters more than people admit. It’s the kind of place locals want to keep to themselves.
