Sargent Park is one of those spots that locals in Bow actually keep to themselves — small, clean, and genuinely well thought out for little kids. The climbing structure has ramps built in, so it works for a wider range of abilities than your typical playground, and the sandbox is a legit hit with the toddler crowd (bring trucks, or borrow someone else’s). There’s good shade, picnic tables, and restrooms on site, which makes a longer visit actually doable. The open grass field gives older kids room to run while the younger ones dig, and the paved walking path is a nice bonus. It’s quiet, it’s maintained, and for families with kids under five especially, it’s hard to beat in this part of New Hampshire.
