Playground – Mitnick Park

Locals know Mitnick Park is one of the better spots in Cape May for actually keeping kids entertained without having to chase them between three different areas. The playground got a solid upgrade and has the good rubber ground cover — not the mulch that ends up everywhere — which parents with younger ones really appreciate. There’s a solid mix of equipment too: slides, swings, a climbing structure, a merry-go-round, and a sandbox, so kids from around 2 up to 12 can find something worth doing. When the little ones wear out, there’s shaded seating and picnic tables with a BBQ area nearby, and if your older kids want to shoot hoops or kick a ball around, the basketball court and soccer field are right there. Parking is easy, the whole place feels well-maintained, and it’s genuinely the kind of park you end up staying at longer than you planned.
