Berry Lane Park Playground

If you live in Jersey City and haven’t made it out to Berry Lane yet, you’re missing one of the better spots on this side of town. The playground itself is solid — climbing structure, water feature for hot days, and it stays genuinely clean, which isn’t something you can say about every park around here. Kids from toddlers up through 12 have plenty to do, and parents actually stick around because there’s real shade from the trees and parking that doesn’t require a miracle. Beyond the playground, there’s a basketball court and soccer field, so older kids can drift over while the little ones play. It’s the kind of place where you show up for an hour and end up staying three.
