Fort Medford

The fort-style climbing structure here is genuinely one of the better setups in the area — kids go absolutely nuts for it, and it holds up for a pretty wide age range, which isn’t always easy to find. There’s enough going on between the slides, swings, and climbing to keep multiple kids busy without them all piling onto the same thing. The whole area is fenced in, which makes a real difference if you’ve got a runner, and the restrooms are actually clean, which — look, you notice when that’s not the case. Shaded seating, picnic tables, a basketball court, soccer field — it’s the kind of spot where you can make a whole afternoon of it. Parking’s easy, the neighborhood is quiet, and it doesn’t feel overcrowded even on weekends.
