Wild Duck Pond Playground

If you live in Ridgewood and haven’t made it out here yet, you’re missing one of the more low-key gems in the area. The climbing structure keeps kids genuinely busy, and the water feature is a solid bonus on hot days — little ones love it. There are separate play areas for different ages, which actually matters when you’ve got a toddler and a seven-year-old with very different ideas about what’s fun. The pond view is real and pretty, the walking path gives you something to do while the kids run the open field, and the restrooms are clean enough that you won’t dread needing them. Parking is easy, the neighborhood around it stays quiet, and the whole place just feels like it hasn’t been over-discovered yet.
