If you live on the west side of Las Cruces, this place probably already feels like your backyard. The skatepark is genuinely solid for beginners and intermediates — not just a couple of sad ramps thrown together — and the walking trail is long enough to actually get a good bike ride or stroll in. There’s a basketball court, baseball field, and a jungle gym that parents seem to keep pretty clean, which matters more than people admit. Pack some food because the shaded picnic tables and BBQ pits make it easy to turn a random Saturday into a full afternoon out.
