Rio Vista Park is just a short walk away, which makes this a solid combo trip if you’ve got kids who need to burn energy beyond the playground itself. The natural scenery along this stretch of Rio Rancho is genuinely good — cottonwoods, open sky, that whole New Mexico thing. Worth a stop if you’re already out this way.
