If you’ve got little ones under 8, this spot is genuinely one of the better-kept secrets in Germantown. The walking path winds close to the woods, so you get that real trail feel without having to haul a toddler through anything too rugged. The neighborhood is quiet enough that you can actually hear yourself think, and the layout makes it easy to keep an eye on the kids without hovering over them the whole time. Fall especially — the forest edge turns and the whole place looks like something off a postcard.
