Right at the base of Buttermilk Falls, this playground pulls double duty as a legit destination and a solid post-hike reward for kids who made it up the gorge trail. There are separate play zones — a smaller setup for toddlers and a bigger structure for older kids — so everyone’s got somewhere to actually go. Picnic tables make it easy to stretch out lunch, and having real restrooms on-site is genuinely clutch when you’ve got little ones.
