Locals know this spot by Onondaga Lake is one of the better-kept secrets in Liverpool. The water feature is a legitimate hit on hot days — kids will plant themselves in that misting fountain and refuse to leave. Paved paths loop through the area for walking or biking, and you can actually rent the big bikes if you didn’t bring your own. Parking is easy, the restrooms are genuinely clean (not an afterthought), and the setup works for toddlers just as well as older kids. With the lake right there as a backdrop, it’s an easy afternoon.
