San Giacomo Playground

If you’re looking for a spot in New Windsor where you can actually do more than one thing, this is it. There’s a basketball court, plenty of open grass for whatever you want to throw, kick, or set up, and parking that doesn’t make you want to give up and go home. Dog owners seem to claim this place as their own, and honestly, it’s earned that reputation — the park is kept up well, which isn’t something you can say about every town facility around here. Good for kids, good for adults, good for the dog.
