Black Creek Park

If you’ve got a toddler and you’re tired of the same boring playground loop, this park is worth the drive out to North Chili. The play area is geared toward little kids, so it’s not overwhelming, and there’s plenty of open grass nearby when they inevitably want to just run around instead. Two ponds, a creek, and some solid trail access into the woods make it feel like more than just a playground stop — bring a picnic and make an afternoon of it. Winter’s underrated here too, since locals know the sledding hill actually delivers.
