If you’re passing through Tannersville, this one’s worth stopping for. The climbing structure and musical equipment are genuinely newer additions — not the beat-up hand-me-downs you see at a lot of small-town parks — and the kids actually use them. Throw in a skate park and basketball court and the older kids have real reasons to stick around too. The lake right there makes the whole thing feel less like a municipal afterthought and more like an actual destination. Pack a lunch, grab a picnic table, and plan to stay longer than you intended.
