Beech Mountain Playground

Locals know this little playground punches above its weight for a mountain town. The climbing structure keeps kids in the 3-to-12 range genuinely busy, and the soft rubber surface under everything is a nice touch — no scraped knees on the gravel like some spots around here. Grab one of the picnic tables under the pavilion and you’ve got legit mountain views while the kids do their thing. There’s a dog park right next door, so it works perfectly if you’re trying to tire out the whole family in one stop. The trails nearby make it easy to tack on a short hike before or after.
