Freedom Park Small Playground

If you’ve got a toddler and you live anywhere near Dilworth or Myers Park, you already know this spot. The fully fenced setup is the main draw — kids can run at it while you actually exhale for a minute. There’s a solid sandbox that gets heavy use, plus slides, swings, and a climbing structure that keeps the younger ones busy without overwhelming them. Shade trees and covered picnic tables mean you’re not roasting in the Carolina heat, and the parking lot right there makes the whole trip way less of a production. The pond and walking path in the larger park are a nice bonus when the kids need a change of scenery.
