Camp T.N. Spencer Park

One of those parks that actually lives up to the hype — the grounds are kept clean, the restrooms work, and it doesn’t feel like anyone’s forgotten about it. Kids 3 to 12 have plenty to keep them busy between the slides, swings, and water feature, while parents can grab a shaded bench or claim a picnic table near the BBQ area. The pond nearby adds a real outdoorsy feel, and the walking path winds close enough to the tree line that it genuinely feels like you’ve escaped the suburbs for a bit. It’s the kind of quiet that’s hard to find this close to town, which is probably why the regulars here tend to come back every weekend.
