The climbing structure here is legit, the kind that actually challenges older kids instead of boring them after five minutes, and the merry-go-round is a throwback you don’t see much anymore. Shade trees do real work in the summer, which matters when you’re watching your kid attempt the same climb seventeen times. There’s a bike track and walking path on site too, so it works for the whole crew even if not everyone’s in playground mode. Tucked near forest trails with a forest-edge feel despite being in the city — worth the detour.
