Veterans Park

There’s a pond right there when you walk in, and honestly that alone keeps the little ones entertained for a good chunk of the visit — ducks, turtles, the works. The playground itself is solid for the 2-8 crowd, with climbing structures and slides that are actually shaded, which matters a lot come summer in Holly Springs. Grab one of the picnic tables under the trees and you’ve basically got a full afternoon sorted. The walking path loops around nicely, and with the forest trail access nearby, it doesn’t feel like just another neighborhood park — there’s a little more to it than that.
