Rosedale Park Playground

The zipline alone makes this place worth the trip — kids will loop back to it a dozen times before you can get them to the swings. It’s one of those parks where there’s genuinely enough going on that siblings at different ages can all find their thing, from the toddler-friendly merry-go-round to the bigger climbing structure and hillside slides. Being close to the tree line gives it a shaded, outdoorsy feel that most playgrounds in Huntersville don’t have, and the pond nearby makes for a nice excuse to wander after the kids burn off some energy on the bike track or walking path. Restrooms are kept up well, which — if you’re a parent — you know isn’t something you can take for granted. Honestly one of the better-rounded spots in the area for a half-day outing.
