Riverside Park My Playground

This is one of those parks that actually gets it right — separate fenced areas for the little ones and the bigger kids means you’re not constantly holding your breath watching a toddler wander under a swing set. The playground itself has solid variety: slides, climbing structure, swings, a merry-go-round, and even a water feature to keep things interesting on hot days. When the kids need a break, there’s shaded seating and picnic tables, and restrooms nearby so you’re not cutting the visit short. The walking path takes you out toward the lake, which makes it worth the trip even if you’re not there specifically for the playground. Soccer field, basketball court, open grass — there’s genuinely enough here to fill a whole afternoon without running out of things to do.
