E. F. Middleton Park Playground

Kids around here know this spot well — it’s got the basics covered with swings, slides, and a climbing structure that keeps the 3-to-10 crowd busy without any fuss. The swings are honestly the best part, facing out toward the street where the kids can watch boats, trucks, and cars roll by, which buys parents an extra few minutes of peace. Parking is right there, restrooms too, so it’s easy to pop in without a big production. Nothing fancy, but Oak Island doesn’t really need fancy.
