North Hills Park playground

The sandbox here is genuinely one of the better ones in Raleigh — big enough that multiple kids can dig around without getting in each other’s way, which sounds minor until you’ve dealt with the alternative. Families in the North Hills area come back to this one regularly, and you can see why. It’s a solid pick for kids roughly 2 to 12, and there are restrooms on site, which honestly makes or breaks a playground trip with little ones.
