If you’re local and haven’t taken your kids to Pullen Park yet, you’re genuinely missing out. The water features are a lifesaver in the summer — mist stations and water fill stations that actually keep everyone cool instead of just looking pretty. They’ve done a decent job separating play areas by age, so little ones aren’t getting bulldozed by bigger kids. Grab a picnic table, because you’ll want to stay a while — especially once the kids spot the play train and start lobbying hard for a ride. Restrooms are clean, benches are plentiful, and the whole place has that old-school amusement park feel that’s weirdly hard to find anymore.
