Falcon Circle

Falcon Circle is one of those low-key neighborhood spots that locals actually use on a regular basis — nothing fancy, but that’s kind of the point. Kids between 3 and 10 will keep themselves busy on the slides and swings while parents catch a break on the benches under some decent shade trees. The open grass field gives older kids room to run around, and being close to the forest trails means you can turn a quick playground trip into a longer outdoor adventure if the mood strikes. Parking is easy, and the layout makes it simple to keep an eye on your kids without hovering. Shelby doesn’t always get credit for its neighborhood green spaces, but this one’s a solid option for a weekday afternoon or a casual weekend outing.
