If you live in Heritage Gates, you already know this little spot is one of the better perks of the neighborhood. The enclosed layout makes it genuinely easy to keep an eye on younger kids while older ones do their own thing — there are two separate play areas, so the 2-year-olds and the 10-year-olds aren’t constantly in each other’s way. Swings, shaded seating, picnic tables — it’s got the basics covered, literally. The whole place is kept up really well, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every neighborhood playground in Wake Forest.
