Wilmer Park Playground

The playground equipment here is pretty basic and geared toward the little ones — we’re talking toddlers up to about six years old — so don’t expect much if your kids are older. That said, the basketball court is the real draw, and it gets decent use from the neighborhood. It’s a small setup overall, but it does the job if you live nearby and just need somewhere close to burn off some energy. Don’t make a special trip, but if you’re already in the area with young kids, it’s a solid enough option.
