Medora Children’s Park

If you’re passing through Medora, don’t skip this one. The playground was built by volunteers and it shows — in the best way — with this chunky, hand-crafted wooden structure that leans hard into the old west theme the whole town has going on. Little ones get their own dedicated area, and the sandbox keeps kids busy longer than you’d expect. The whole thing is fenced in, restrooms are right there, and the views of the surrounding cliffs are genuinely something else while you’re just sitting there watching your kids dig around in the sand.
