Saybrook Township Park

If you want a low-key afternoon near the lake without fighting crowds, this little neighborhood park delivers. The swings get plenty of use from the younger kids, and there’s enough picnic tables and grill space to actually spread out for a real cookout. Lake Erie views don’t hurt either — summer evenings here can be genuinely hard to beat, especially when a local band sets up. It stays clean, which honestly isn’t something you can say about every park in the area. Good spot for families with kids anywhere from toddlers up through about 12.
