If you live on the west side of Cleveland, this one’s worth the drive to Berea. The setup works well for mixed-age groups — there’s enough going on for toddlers (tunnels, the seesaw, smaller slides) while older kids gravitate toward the climbing structure and that old-school merry-go-round you don’t see at many parks anymore. It backs up near trails and trees, so it stays shaded and cool in a way that the newer plastic-and-rubber parks just don’t. Grab one of the picnic tables, and you’ve got a solid afternoon — basketball court and open grass field if the kids need to burn off more energy, parking that’s actually convenient. Quiet neighborhood, minimal crowds, the kind of place regulars don’t always feel like broadcasting.
