Forest Hills Park

If you grew up on the east side of Cleveland, you probably have a memory or two tied to this place. The pool gets packed on hot summer days, the basketball courts stay busy pretty much year-round, and the open grass field gives kids room to actually run around — something you don’t always get in a city park. There’s a pond nearby that the geese have fully claimed as their own, for better or worse. Parking is easy enough, and the historical background gives it a little more depth than your average neighborhood green space.
