Honestly, this little spot in the heart of Columbus is one of those places locals keep to themselves. The fountain is the main draw — toddlers and preschoolers go absolutely feral for it on a hot afternoon, splashing around while parents actually get to sit down on a bench and decompress for five minutes. It’s low-key and unpretentious, which is exactly what you want when you’re wrangling small kids in the city. Parking is right there, which sounds minor until you’ve circled a Columbus block seventeen times with a screaming two-year-old.
