Croghan Park

The playground here got a solid renovation recently, and it shows — the climbing structure and slides are actually built for kids who’ve outgrown the toddler stuff, which is refreshing. Older kids (think 5 and up, but really shines for the 8-12 crowd) have enough to keep them busy without it feeling like a baby park. After they’ve worn themselves out, there’s a basketball court and a walking path looping through, so parents can get some steps in too. Picnic tables, BBQ grills, and shaded seating make it easy to turn this into a longer afternoon rather than a quick stop. It’s a quiet neighborhood spot — don’t expect a ton of bells and whistles, but what’s here is well-kept and does the job.
