SKIP Playground

One of the better playgrounds in the Summit County area, SKIP does a genuinely good job of thinking through inclusive design — the equipment is set up so kids of all abilities can actually play together, not just alongside each other. There’s a zipline, an in-ground merry-go-round, climbing structures, musical equipment, and a sandbox, so kids have real options instead of just one or two things to rotate through. The artificial turf surface is a smart call, especially for younger or more wobbly kids taking tumbles. Clean restrooms, shade trees, picnic tables, and solid parking make it easy for families to stay a while — and people do.
