The lake access is really what makes this spot worth knowing about — most people just drive past without realizing you can get down to the water here. It’s tucked into one of Purcell’s quieter neighborhoods, so you’re not dealing with crowds or noise. The pavilion makes it a decent option if you want to get outside with the family and actually sit somewhere shaded. Just a heads up, it’s not wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind before you make the trip.
