Jenkins Estate Playground

Tucked into a quiet Beaverton neighborhood right on the edge of some really nice forest trails, this one’s a solid go-to for families with little kids — we’re talking the 2-to-5 crowd especially. The astroturf surface under the equipment is a genuine plus, softer landings for the inevitable tumbles off the climbing structure or the slide. There are shade trees keeping things cool, picnic tables for an actual lunch stop, and restrooms that are reliably clean, which honestly isn’t something you can take for granted. The open grass field and walking path give older siblings or parents somewhere to stretch out while the toddlers do their thing. It’s never packed, the forest backdrop makes it feel less “suburban parking lot” than a lot of local parks, and parking is easy — hard to ask for much more.
