Mountain View Park

Locals know this one as a solid neighborhood spot that doesn’t get as crowded as the bigger parks in Bend. The climbing structure keeps kids in the 2–12 range busy, and the layout makes it easy to keep an eye on everyone without constantly chasing them around. There’s a bike track and walking path that loop through, so if you’ve got a kid on a balance bike or a little one in a stroller, it works out well. The open grass field backs up near a pond, and on a clear day you’ve got mountain views that honestly make hanging out here pretty easy to justify. Restrooms on-site, which if you’re a parent, you already know matters more than anything else on this list.
