Overturf Park

Tucked into one of Bend’s quieter residential pockets near the forest edge, this one’s a solid little spot if you’ve got kids under five and a dog in tow. The fenced dog park is the real draw for a lot of locals — you can let the pup run while the toddlers do their thing without much stress. Pine trees give it that classic Central Oregon feel, and the dirt paths are good for short walks, though don’t expect anything groomed or fancy. It’s small, it’s local, and parking can be a little awkward depending on when you show up. Not a destination park, but if you live nearby, you’ll probably end up here more than you’d expect.
