Playground (Rock climbing wall)

If you’re heading out to Smith Rock anyway, this little spot is worth knowing about. The climbing structure is the real draw — it’s the kind of thing that actually keeps kids busy instead of just standing there looking at it, and the backdrop of those red rock formations makes the whole thing feel pretty surreal. Restrooms and picnic tables are right there, so you’re not scrambling to find somewhere to eat lunch or take a bathroom break mid-adventure. Good for kids 3 to 12, though the bolder ones will definitely get more out of the climbing wall.
