If you’ve got a kid who uses a wheelchair or has mobility challenges, this place is genuinely worth the trip. The rubberized surface means no one’s getting stuck in mulch or gravel, and that flush merry-go-round built right into the ground is something you don’t see at most playgrounds around here. The inclusive swings and modern equipment are set up so kids with physical disabilities can actually play alongside everyone else, not just watch from the sidelines. Grandparents can get around easily too, which is a big deal when you’re trying to make a day of it with the whole family. DuBois doesn’t have a ton of spots like this, so locals have taken notice.
