Billings Park Playground

If you’re looking for a spot where you can actually make a day of it, this one delivers. The playground sits right on the lake with views that’ll make you forget you’re in a small town — the updated equipment is solid, and the little ones can move between the play structures and the open grass field without you having to pack up and drive somewhere else. There’s a BBQ area and a basketball half-court, so it works just as well for a full family cookout as it does for a quick afternoon stop. The walking path along the water is a nice bonus, especially if you’ve got kids who need to burn energy before they’ll eat. Honestly one of the better setups in the area for families with a mix of ages.
