Chutes and Ladders Park

If you’ve got a kid between 5 and 12 who’s bored of the same old swing sets, this Harrisburg spot is worth the trip. The whole park leans into the classic board game theme — slides, climbing structures, and a merry-go-round that actually gets some use, which you don’t see much anymore. Older kids especially love it here because the climbing isn’t watered down. There’s real shade and picnic tables too, so you’re not standing in the sun counting down the minutes. A walking path loops around if you need to stretch your legs while the kids do their thing.
