If you’ve dealt with muddy shoes at other local parks, you’ll appreciate that this one uses rubber chip turf — no mud, even after a solid rain. The equipment is newer and well-maintained, with a climbing structure that holds up for kids from toddlers all the way to 14-year-olds. What sets it apart, honestly, is the view — you can watch planes take off and land from the airport runway right from the playground, which kids get a kick out of. There’s also a walking path and open grass field if you need to burn off extra energy or just want to stretch your legs.
