The woods right behind this spot make it feel way more outdoorsy than your average neighborhood playground — kids can swing, splash around in the water feature, and then practically walk straight into the trail system without missing a beat. It sits close enough to the water that you get those nice pond views without any of the crowds you’d expect somewhere this pretty. The tire matting underfoot is a solid touch if you’ve got littles who are still figuring out the whole balance thing. Honestly one of the better spots in Meadville for families who want more than just a basic play structure.
