Wright Township Recreation Park

If you’re up in Mountain Top and looking for a solid half-day spot, this one checks a lot of boxes. The playground has the usual suspects — slides, swings, seesaw, climbing structure — but the water feature is what really keeps the kids locked in during summer. Shade trees and covered seating mean you’re not roasting on a bench while you wait them out. There’s a soccer field and open grass for older kids who’ve outgrown the playground, plus a walking path if you want to actually move your legs while they burn energy. It backs up near the woods, which gives the whole place a quieter feel than you’d expect from a township park.
