Burgess Park

Locals know Burgess Park delivers way more than your average small-town playground — the free splash pad alone makes it worth the trip on a hot summer day. Kids have plenty to keep them busy with slides, a climbing structure, and a seesaw, plus there’s a skate park if you’ve got older ones who’d otherwise be bored. The pond nearby gives the whole place a nice feel, and the shaded seating means parents can actually sit comfortably instead of baking in the sun.
