Cogan House Playground/Lois’ Music Garden

Out here in Trout Run, this place catches you off guard in the best way. The musical garden — with its chimes and drums — is genuinely unlike anything else you’ll find in the area, and kids (and honestly, adults) can’t walk past it without stopping to play. There’s a solid climbing structure and swings for the full age range, all on rubber matting, which parents around here really appreciate. Shaded seating, picnic tables, and restrooms mean you can actually stay a while without scrambling. The walking path edges right up toward the forest, so it doubles nicely as a trailhead stop if you’re out exploring the area.
