If you’ve got kids under 10 and need somewhere to cool off on a hot Columbia afternoon, this is a solid go-to. The splash pad keeps little ones busy for way longer than you’d expect, and the shaded seating nearby means parents aren’t just standing around baking in the sun. Pack a lunch — there are picnic tables right there, and with restrooms on site, you can actually stay a while without anyone having a meltdown. Good for toddlers especially, since the water features aren’t overwhelming for the younger crowd.
